Paraffin wax candles like this one will generally burn for around 40-60 hours, depending on the wick size and burning conditions. A slower, even burn is always recommended to maximise the candle’s lifespan and achieve a fuller melt pool within the jar.

Allow the wax to melt completely across the surface of the glass – this is known as a ‘full melt pool’ – before extinguishing. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn, maximising fragrance throw (if scented) or simply ensuring a consistent flame output.
