Rapeseed grown and pressed in the UK, which shortens the supply chain considerably against imported soy or coconut wax. It burns cooler and slower than soy, so the throw builds gradually rather than hitting you in the first ten minutes — worth knowing before you decide it is underpowered.
Rapeseed wax candles tend to develop their fragrance gradually. In a larger room, the initial ‘throw’ will be gentler; you’ll notice the meadow herbs more noticeably after several hours of burning as the wax melts and releases its odour fully. A smaller room will naturally hold the scent stronger.
